Hi

I'm new to this and would like advice on the following. My husband is in a trust deed and recently I was trying to get internet services from a provider that he included in his trust deed which wasn't in joint names. They have said I would have to pay off the debt prior to services being provided. Would this affect his trust deed terms if I paid off this debt in instalments (it not for a lot just over ยฃ150 although they said they would have to look it again when debt clear not sure they would then provide service to me either due to his credit history)

Any advice would be appreciated.

There's nothing to stop you paying this debt off if you want to, and it shouldn't have any effect on his trust deed, other than his other creditors might get a teeny weeny bit more towards their own debts.
