Hi worried dad

We were the same as yourself about making the call but so glad we did.. We have just made our last payment and I won't say it's been easy but so glad we done it. Once you have made the call and get the ball rolling and your TD becomes protected the relief you feel can't be put into words, the letters stop and the phonecalls.
Good luck and do read the posts on the forum as they will answer any questions that you will have.

Hi worried dad

It's strange you mentioning the hesitation taking the first step. It's something that hasn't changed in 20+ years. The law has changed so much, but the fear of the great unknown hasn't. Once you know all the options and have a clear way forward that puts you back in control, it's a lot easier moving forward.

I'm glad that you're feeling a little better Worried_dad.

Hopefully in a few days you'll have a very clear route forwards.
