hi all, I currently live with my parents and they don't know anything about my trust deed which is how id like it to stay, they are selling the house soon and I'm worried they will find out as in registered at this address so the trust deed will be too, does anyone know if they are likely to be notified of this? Thanks in advance

Welcome to the forum lenniek.

I doubt this will be an issue, but it does have to be remembered that trust deeds are recorded on a public register so it is discoverable if someone goes looking.

Do you have the same (or very similar) name as either of your parents?

Thank you for your reply! I've been really stressed worrying about them finding out so glad to hear it's not likely they'll find oht that way. We have the same surnames but none of our first names are similar?

I do think it's unlikely lenniek.

If you had the same name as a parent I guess it would be more likely to raise queries.

Thank you! While on the topic, when my parents sell the house I'm going to have to rent a room from my friend who has her own house, if i can still keep up my agreed monthly repayment amount do you think my IP will have an issue with this? I dont really have any other options it would be that or live on my mum and dad's couch as they are selling the family home and downsizing

I don't see why your trustee should have any issue with this if you are able to keep up your agreed contributions, lenniek.
