we have a small outstanding balance on a store card which was not mentioned in the trust deed and are paying it off the card has been destroyed will we get into trouble for this the reason we forgot about it because it was pay now and pay later and hadnt received a bill until recently.

Hello again mags67.

All of the debts should have been included in the Scottish Trust Deed. I can however see that it would be easy to overlook one of them in the circumstances that you describe.

I wonder if any of the experts could let us know what the appropriate thing to do is now that you have realised this...

Just let your trustee know mags67 - the debt can still be included in the trust deed so there is no need to pay this off. You won't get into trouble - as trust deed assistant says, these things happen...
