Hi Guys,

Although I have been viewing this forum for over 3 years, this is my first post. I would just like to say thanks to all on the forum for their invaluable advice, it certainly helped me get through it.

After spending many sleepless nights and awful thoughts entering my head, I entered my Trust Deed just over 3 years ago. I had over ยฃ40k worth of debt and did not think I would ever find a way out. This week I have received my form 5 and I am debt free. The 3 years have passed very quickly and although it has been tough on occasion, it has been worth it. So to anyone thinking about it, I know 3 years seems a long time, but you will get there - have faith! So thanks again and good luck folks. Also well done to everyone who like me have completed their Trust Deed journey.

I would also say that the firm i used were brilliant and I could not have asked for a better service. So thanks to Grant Thorton for everything.

Bertie

Well done and I am very happy to say I am just as lucky. My form 5 arrived yesterday, my last payment of the 3 years was made on the 1st of July, form 5 dated 12th July. I only had to make one call to ask when I would expect the form. So thankyou very much to everyone on here who has advised over the years and to Carrington Dean for making it straight forward.

Hi cheerykel,

Well done on the successful completion of your Trust Deed.

I enjoy reading posts like this as it really does show that if a Trust Deed is set up correctly at the outset then it can and does work.

Good luck for the future.
