Well, after 3 years contributions and paying off the trustees interest in my equity (and several PPI claims [}:)]) ..I'm now awaiting the form (5?) that will see an end to it all.

If it wasn't for this forum and the professional advice given I'd still be in a very dark place, for those that are considering a TD and are concerned, it's not the end of the world, I never thought I'd see this day - and thanks to all those who help. A former advisor on this forum who has moved on was the person who helped me most..they know who they are.

Any advice on the next steps I should take? I'm aware the TD will still be on my file for another year.

Well done on reaching the very final stages leeper1974 and thank you for your kind words.

In terms of your question, I guess this is primarily related to your credit report?

Hi there.

It's a bit of a waiting game right now.

Once you have your Form 5 you'll need to give your creditors at least a month or so to update your credit report.

After that time obtain a copy and see if you think it has all been updated. Let us know if it hasn't or anything on there is confusing.

I was discharged in early December and I'll work on confirming my creditors mark the debts as cleared. However, will my credit be updated to state satisfactory or will it still remain as defaulted?

Welcome to the forum TDFree-1989.

Congratulations on completing your trust deed.

Default notices should probably be marked as being "partially satisfied" upon your discharge. In reality many creditors simply mark them as being "satisfied".

You may need to "encourage" some of the lenders to get this done.

That's great leeper1974.

That's the official recognition when it's registered on that site.
