Hi all
just a quick question if it's been asked before my apologies.

Could you receive your form 5 or be discharged by your trustee if you have completed all your obligations and paid your final 36th payment before your 3 year anniversary signing date, or must your trustee have to wait until the anniversary date before issuing form 5.

Many thanks

Just paid final payment but 4 weeks to go until anniversary date.

Many thanks

Hi littlemo.

For older trust deeds I think the trustee has discretion.

Some might wait to protect creditors from the risk of a lost windfall.

I think it is likely they will wait until the anniversary if it is so close, littlemo. Just makes it more straightforward in terms of annual reporting.
