Years ago, I added my partner as an additional cardholder. She hasn't used the card for years.
She doen't get any separate statements from the CC Issuer.
Her name is not included on any of the correspondence the CC Issuer sends me.
Can they come after her when/if my Trust Deed gets accepted?

Hello selleck and welcome to the forum.

I'm not aware of any "joint" credit cards.

This is good news for you in this instance. If the credit card is in your name that means you are responsible alone for the debts whether they were run-up by yourself or by a second cardholder that you authorised.

So unless there is something very unusual going on your partner will be in the clear.

Thanks very much, TDA! I just wondered 'cos Tesco are phoning wanting to speak to myself OR my fiancee. I guess it's an admin thing, then?

That does seem strange selleck.

Why don't you ask Tesco why they would want to speak to a non-cardholder?

Hopefully an admin error as you suggest.

Hi sellec

The second cardholder has no responsibility for the debt, so you can rest easy.
