...35 to go.
I signed my Trust Deed this week and made my initial payment.
I met up with Mark from Philip Gill two weeks ago and went through everything face to face.
I have to say he was great. - Really I HAVE to say that, he insisited! [:p] (joking of course)
It's not an easy step to take. There are pangs of guilt and even shame.
None of which were added to in anyway by Mark. Just the opposite in fact.
A huge weight has been lifted just by tackling and dealing with head on the things I have avoided and let grow arms and legs over the last few years.
If anyone is reading this forum in the position I was in just 2 or 3 weeks ago, I would advise them to make an appointment with Mark, or someone like him, and see if this is the correct route for you too.
I obviously still have the wait for the TD to become protected. No doubt the worry will creep back in when that deadline approaches.
But right now I am enjoying the fact that, even though it's not yet official, there is a light at the end of this tunnel.
Thanks again to Mark and his team and all the others who took time to give me advice on this forum.
Jinty.
Thanks for the kind words. They really are very much appreciated.
I'm really glad you found things ok. As i said, take away all the unknowns and it should be a smooth 36 months ( promise) and you can contact Maria or myself at any point in that time.
Regards
Mark

well done mate
Hi Jinty McSkinty.
I'm really glad to hear that all has gone well for you and that you're happy with the help that you enlisted to set up your trust deed.
Fingers crossed for "protection"... though Mark seems pretty confident about that from his post.
