Hi ,
Just wanted to say that I am due to sign my trust deed paperwork with Paul next week.
The process and time that Paul has taken to help and give impartial advice to me has been very reassuring.
I am still sad at the thought of a trust deed but needs must as I had a change in personal circumstances that has left me unable to pay my finances fully at this present time.
I cannot recommend Paul and his company enough and the relief is immense. I'm glad I have taken this step so I can now move on with other areas in my life.
Speaking with others about debt is not easy but I have found that some friends are also struggling and will be in touch with Paul in the next couple weeks for advice.
I still have a couple of other queries which I'm sure Paul will clarify before I sign at our meeting.
Lets hope the next 4 years flies in 🙂

It's good to hear your positive comments about Paul. I'm sure that his colleague David Tannock (who posts in this forum) will make sure he's aware of your comments.

Thanks for the positive comments and feedback about Paul. I've given Paul a nudge to see your comments as we sit next to each other in the office.
Trying to deal with debt can be a very stressful time and it's difficult to open up and speak with friends or family regarding it as it's a very private and personal thing. As advisors when tend to be the first person that someone who is financially struggling opens up to and talks to about their debt. As you say when you do open up and speak about debt to friends or family you can sometimes learn that they are also struggling but were too scared or proud to admit to it.
I can always see a change in someone from the first time I meet with them to discuss their debts. Once we are able to set a plan up for them that works people are able to start focusing on the future and there is a light at the end of the tunnel where once there didn't look like there was.
You'll find the forum very useful for answering any questions or concerns that you might have about things along with people who are coming to the end of their Trust Deed's.
