I have been in trust deed for 3 years now I am only paying back arrears I have. I received a letter asking for payslips and bank statements but in my last conversation with relationship manager a few months ago I was told I did not need to send any more payslips or statements or that any overtime I did would not be of any consequences to my payments it seems to me that that was either a lie or the goalposts have been moved by the company and instead of ending my td i November it will continue for longer

Hi piper.

It might well be that they're just verifying that you're repaying the arrears at a rate which is affordable for you and which will result in the trust deed ending no later than it needs to.

Hi piper,

It could be the case that the letter which you have received has been sent out to you automatically by their system as you are still a live case.

If your Trust Deed is due to finish in November I would be surprised if you were required to complete it and send back your bank statements and payslips.

I would give your relationship manager a call to ask if you are required to complete it.

Let us know how you get on.

Update to post contacted relationship manager and as David suggested it was an automatically sent letter and that doesn't need to be acted upon although dates for final payment were wrong last payment isn't till May but on bright side all has been clarified easily with one phone call and end isn't too far away

Hi piper,

I thought that might be the case and I'm glad it's been easily resolved. Sometimes all it takes is a quick phone call.

I'm sure you will be counting down the months until May. Hopefully it passes quickly for you!
