Hi there, i am new on here so hello.
I have been in a trust deed for just over 2 years now with a Glasgow company (not sure if i can name them). Anyway, when I get my 6 monthly confirmation letter through asking me to update my income/expenditure, I tend to get another letter through 2 days later saying that my payments will stay the same etc, even though I haven't sent my updated income/expenditure form back!! Is this normal?

Hi GeoF and welcome to the forum,
It sounds a little strange that you can get a letter advising that your payments will remain the same when you haven't sent your income and expenditure form back yet. Sounds like the letter could have been sent in error.
I would give them a call to advise that you've not sent your income and expenditure form back yet but will do so asap.
I don't see there being any problems with your payments unless your circumstances have changed.
How have you found the whole process of entering into a Trust Deed Geof?

Thanks David. It has happened on more than one ocassion, but as you say it could just be an oversight.
I have to say that the whole process has been a bit of a relief, in terms of stopping correspondence with my creditors, and the stress that comes with it.
Thanks again.

Hi GeoF,
It's good to hear that the Trust Deed has helped you out of a difficult situation. The phone calls and letters can be the most stressful part of being in financial difficulties and for these to stop can be a big relief for someone.
Good luck for the future and I'm sure before you know it you will be coming to the end of your Trust Deed and asking about the closure/discharge process.
