My discharge is shown on AIB as 04/10/16 but I have not yet received my Form 5 and obviously the trustee has not been discharged yet.

I've seen other posts about trustees taking an interest in PPI refunds in this period, but do I have to notify the trustee of any other windfalls now that I'm discharged.

Only asking because I may be due a bonus from my employer.

Hi aber87.

That money should be yours.

You're getting it after your discharge, which became official after it was placed on the register of Insolvencies.

Hi aber87,

Well done on successfully completing your Trust Deed and receiving your discharge.

As TDA has advised once the date is on the ROI you are fully discharged and entitled to keep anything which you therefore acquire, inherit or receive. I suspect the Form 5 is in the post to you. I would chase this up towards the end of this week if you haven't received it.

The only asset which the Trustee could consider would be something that existed whilst you were still in your Trust Deed.

It sounds like your discharge came about just in time. Enjoy spending that bonus money!
