Hello to you all,
I am new to posting but have been using this site for information for a while now. Our trust deed started on 1st June 2010 and all is currently going well, we have a lovely advisor and everthing gets dealt with quickly, we have no more bother from creditors either.
Our first daughter was born in February 2009. I found out six weeks ago that I am pregnant for the second time, due 7 September. When should I tell our IP?
Obviously our expenditure will change when the baby is born, I am not going to breastfeed this time round so will need to budget for formula. Thankfully we still have everything we used for our daughter so we don't have to worry about cots and prams etc.
My husband works full time and we don't get much in tax credits, (currently £7 a week), but I know this will increase slightly along with the child benefit when our baby is born. We have no other income other than my hubbys salary. This is due to go up but the benefit of this is currently being cancelled out by petrol costs.
Thanks for your help! [:)]

Welcome to the trust deed forum ArgyllWolf.
Congratulations on your news. It's also great to hear that your trust deed is being handled well and your creditors have behaved themselves!
As you have a friendly efficient adviser there might be no harm in contacting him or her now. Nothing is obviously going to change for a few months, but it will hopefully provide some reassurance for you if you understand how everything will work later.
I'd imagine that the trust deed will be adjusted, if necessary, precisely according to the extra costs and extra income that you will have from September onwards.
Many thanks for your reply.
I will give my advisor a call and let her know our situation so it wont be a surprise in September. We have not decided if my husband will take paternity leave or a two week holiday after the baby is born so they may be able to explain what would happen to our payments in each situation.
Thanks again!
