Had a very informal chat today with some Advocates . Regarding statements made by my Trustee , which under civil law constitutes liable/ slander . Putting that aside , just what can you be accused of under a trust deed without your Trustee hiding behind his insurance . After all his/ her insurance covers them , but if I accuse them I have to jump through hoops .Year seven of a deed and my Trustee will not meet me face to face , despite him creaming off ten's of thousands of fee's .Still fighting for myself and Joe public , hear this YER TEA'S OOT .[}:)]

Hi pinalta.

I'd imagine their professional indemnity insurance would cover them from most things that could go wrong in the course of their work. They are personally responsible in many respects so you can imagine they'd want comprehensive protection.

That doesn't mean that they want to have to claim though. That could result in their future premiums becoming much more expensive.
