Ok update. Signed protected trust deed in 2023 54k have a house with loans on top of mortgage stuck in the northern rock disaster. Tried to change so many times unsuccessfully even before the debts. Was never advised my house was part of the deal. I was told 4/5 years maximum. In 2024 35k was written off. Contacted trustee company they said the write off made no difference, took it on the chin as we still had outstanding debt thought 2027 was the end date. This trust deed has never ever been annually reviewed. Last month I contacted them to clarify end date and query the write off. They replied saying 2032 end date pay 304 a month have never missed a payment! Stressed out my box. I made my reply very clear that I would like a review. Basically had a reply back saying more or less tough didn’t word like that but said there would be no review and the had interest in property and would run until 2032. I asked in the email for a review and slapped back with terms and conditions, which I never even knew about. My wife is has several disabilities and severe mental health issues along with 2 disabled children. Cost of living rising really struggling with this I only have 2 creditors left after the massive write off. I have asked yet again for a complaint procedure I await a response. This is insane now. How on earth can this be allowed? Can someone in knowledge please advise my next steps I’m not happy. They’d have been as well cutting the rope back in 2023 I can’t go much longer like this. I faced my debt head on near broke my back I know I have until 2027 as explained on the phone in 2023!!! Please someone advise this is VERY URGENT🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 This has turned into a money making scheme by my trust deed company now. Even after fees my creditors will have had nearly all there money back surely to god something can be done??????
