I'm back again...

After your trust deed is finished should your creditors date the account as satisfied/settled as the date of discharge or should it be the date the account went into default?

Hi Lorryjo1983.

I'm not 100% sure - none of us are credit rating experts.

My guess would be:

1 - Any default notices. These are already dated for when they were issued. They should be amended to satisfied or partially-satisfied when the debts no longer exist (your discharge). I don't think that adds a new date to your credit file though (but I might be wrong).

2 - Any balances showing. These should be set to zero as of the time of discharge from the trust deed I think.
