Unsecured car loan - Santander

I have been looking to trade my car for something smaller and cheaper to run. I contacted Arnold Clark but they checked my car and it is showing as having outstanding finance against it. The loan is part of the trust deed. Should Santander not be updating their records in some way? I obviously can't get anything else until it is showing as nil outstanding.

Thanks

I believe it was a personal unsecured loan but santander had all the details of the car.

I'd just double check it with your trustee prenticebaby.

Maybe they could communicate with Arnold Clark for you assuming that the loan is confirmed as unsecured.
