Hi,
I finished my TD in September 2014 and received my Form 5 in October 2014, I know it can take some time before all the creditors are paid but I have been told that they will not be paid until their PPI claim comes back and they know whether or not I have any.
I have never taken PPI and I told them this in September 2013, I was told they still have to investigate and they are telling me now, in February 2015 this is still not concluded and creditors will not be paid yet.
Meanwhile I have checked my credit report and I am still getting default notices on a monthly basis from some creditors. I was prepared for it taking up to 6 years to get my status back to normal but some of them will now be 2021!
Is this normal? Can I do anything about it? (the trustees office attitude was basically, tough, we will get it done when it's done)Should I make a complaint?
Thanks
Rebecca
Hi Rebecca, I'm sure someone else will confirm, but I'm pretty sure the 6 years starts from the start date of your TD. The trustee can do what he likes. You have your form 5. That's all you need.

Hi Rebecca.
As pointed at by SkintAlly, creditor payment is irrelevant. You're discharged and your credit file should reflect that.
Dealing with your credit file is outside of the scope of work that trustees do. You'll need to contact your creditors yourself to make some progress with this I'm afraid.
