Myself and husband have both been discharged from our trust deeds, form 5s received and luckily trustees discharge updated on register of insolvencies also about 6 weeks or so after our discharge.

My question is, would you normally get written confirmation from your trustee of their discharge and should you receive something confirming total of all your payments made, what trustee received in ppi compensation claims (if anything), their fees and ultimately what dividend your creditors actually received, when your trust deed completed.

Not sure if its something you are supposed to get or does it depend on trustee firm?

Hi lizs.

I'm not sure whether it's a requirement to share this with you automatically, but I very much doubt your trustee would object to giving you the information.

Thanks TDA. Wasn't sure so thanks for clarifying. Did email my trustee firm to ask if this information would be provided and was told it was not something they would provide. Know its nothing major, but a little disappointed that the info wasn't forthcoming after me asking about it, just wanted to see if creditors got what they were expecting, for my own peace of mind more than anything else.
