I have recently been accepted for a protected Trust Deed. After paying for basics and if I work extra hours, having to pay some of it to the Trust Deed, I am left with nothing.
With hindsight, as my basic wage is less than ยฃ130, I think I should have applied for sequestration. Is it possible to do this, or do I have to stick with the Trust Deed?
Thanks.

Hi chris.

You'll need to be discharged from your trust deed first, so you'll need the support of your trustee.

One to discuss with them at this stage I think. If your trust deed began very recently there could be some challenges in exiting from the commitments you signed up to.
