The statistics for the number of Protected Trust Deeds in the last Quarter have been released today.
Between January 1st and March 31st there were 1971. This is an increase of 5% on the same period last year.
The number of bankruptcies has soared though this seems primarily to be due to the introduction last year of the "Low Income, Low Asset" form of bankruptcy.
