hi, just a quick question my husband & I requested a protected trust deed, mines was accepted his was refused so he got sequestrated so he paid ?ú150 a month for 3 years his last payment was march and he had a letter confiming he was discharged an april for should he have received a specific form to pass on the experian to update his file??? Funny how his was sooo smooth but as previously stated on here mine still not discharged!!! Only difference being his was at a different office x

Hi lhenderson,

All the question answerers on here have been open previously that we are not experts on credit ratings or credit files.

However I don't think that there is a clean and easy way to go about this. I think it involves each lender having to update the reference agencies individually.

Sonsub, who has recently posted on the forum, seems to have a good understanding about this subject and may be able to offer some thoughts.
