Hello Lindseywalker87 and welcome.

A trust deed doesn't prevent you from emigrating.

You'll want to make your own enquiries, perhaps with the American authorities, as to whether such a change in your financial status would affect their willingness to accept you to their country.

I'm certainly not saying that it will, it's just my understanding that different countries take an interest in different ways as to the financial capability of potential immigrants to support themselves upon arrival.

I doubt that it's going to be an issue for you Lindseywalker87. We've had plenty of forum members over the years that have moved overseas.

Obviously US immigration policy is way outside of our area of knowledge though so I hope that you can find a way to get a response from the appropriate authorities if you feel that you need reassurance on the subject.

I'm not sure there will be a specific answer as my guess would be that they cannot determine a specific financial policy to cover every conceivable financial status or process that might be applicable in any one of hundreds of countries.

I think you'll want to enquire how, if at all, they'll make a financial assessment about you before making a decision about immigration.
