Hi J.B

Welcome to the forum

I have never came across this as being a problem, however if it states on the application if you are in a Trust deed or sequestration you will need to advise them accordingly.

You could give the passport office a call and ask would it have any effect.

Michael

Hi j.b and welcome.

As Michael says this is quite a specific question that should probably be addressed to the relevant passport authorities rather than us.

I would say that this hasn't been raised as a problem here by anyone in the past (as far as I can remember) though I'm not sure how common these exact circumstances would be.

thanks for answers

i ask coz i'm not sure how home office treat trust deed
i found on home office website this info:

"If you have been declared bankrupt at any time, you should give details of the bankruptcy proceedings. Your application is unlikely to succeed if you are an undischarged bankrupt."

and if they treat TD same way i was worried maybe i need to wait till end of TD

A trust deed is not being bankrupt.

I was told by my IP it was perfectly reasonable to answer those questions as no because they are two different things

Hi again j.b

Trust deeds and bankruptcy are both types of "insolvency".

A trust deed is different to bankruptcy though. If you're asked just about bankruptcy you can answer "no".
