Hi, I am in a protected Trust Deed and pay monthly. I have sent the bank statements that they requested. I received a letter from them yesterday saying that as they have not received them they will be sending sheriffs officers to my work or home to get the bank statements!!! This has really freaked me out as I am a private person and do not want all in sundry knowing my difficulties! Can they do this? [xx(]

TIA

Hi

Sheriff Officers to recover bank statements?! Did they say this would definitely happen, or "may" happen?

Do you have proof of postage for the bank statements you sent?

I'd be on the 'phone to whatever company you are using first thing tomorrow complaining about sending such an alarming letter.

Hi Deezer221.

Have you given them a call?

I'm sure they'd be very pleased if you let them know that you were going to send a replacement set of statements ASAP.

I contacted them and they were fine. Just have to re-send statements but as I explained to him, there is no need for scare tactics when someone is paying and cooperating!!!

TIA

Hi Deezer221

Thank you for the post. I am one of the team here at Wilson Andrews.

I know that you spoke to my colleague yesterday and I believe that the issue has now been resolved.

As Certiorari says, good communication is the key.

Thank you,

Steve
