My Protected trust deed administrator passed my details on to a third party for collection without informing me (is this legal?),

after refusing to speak to the 3rd party the company dealing with my trust deed have on my request now sent me a letter saying i should deal with this company,

Although i have defaulted on my part most of this has been down to the trust deed company.

Can anyone advise please?

Hi bill.

I think you asked about this previously and there was a little concern amongst the experts as to exactly what was happening. It still feels uncomfortable to me but there may be a reasonable explanation. It's hard to say very much more without knowing the names of the companies involved (someone here may know if the companies are connected in any way and in fact all seems in order).

If you have not been making your trust deed payments then a solution clearly needs to be found or you risk the trust deed failing, being saddled with your debts again, or being sequestrated.

If you can provide further detail we may be able to provide more feedback for you.
