Hi folks, this is a question for anyone with a Think Banking/Think Money account.
I returned an item of clothing and the money was put back onto my card... However when I logged into my account online the money had not been credited yet?? Surely it should be instant? Or is it different with a Think Money account?
Thanks!

Hi Nemo1.

Hopefully one of the Wilson Andrews folks that post here sometimes will pick up on this tomorrow. Thinkbanking is part of the same group of companies.

I'm not sure it should be instant. Companies that take debit card payments have to wait a couple of days to get the cash. I think it's likely to be the same for a customer that they refund via their debit card.

Iv never been refunded anything into my bank account in any less than 2 days its never been instant. Even, on the rare occasion, the bank has made a mistake and owes me money iv had to wait a while to be refunded.

Not sure whether Think Banking would be different, but I'm with the Clydesdale and it normally takes a couple of days....

Hi Nemo1

Its actually Ian here from Think Money (I've hijacked Barry's login briefly). I've spoken to the team at thinkmoney - it can take 3-5 days for a refund from a retailer to make it back into your account. Ian
