Can you advise please when my credit file/history is wiped? I know that it is 6 years, but is this 6 years from date of TD being signed or 6 years from registration as a protected TD or 6 years from debtor discharge date, or 6 years from Trustee discharge date?

Thank you

It's either the date you signed or date becomes protected. I was in trust deed for 7 years (just been discharged) I checked my credit report a few months ago and none of my original debts were showing.

Hi Zoomer987.

I believe it should be six years from the date the trust deed began (when you signed it).

Your credit file isn't going to get wiped six years later. There's just a steady fall-off of entries in your credit file when they reach the six year point.
