A BIG BIG thank you to David Tannock for helping me with my debts!!!!! You have been fantastic!!!
When I first spoke with him I was very worried but he helped explain what I could do but 2 home visits from him and now my debt is taken care of. I did speak with a company before speaking with David and they called me constantly asking if I was going ahead with a Deed But when I spoke with David he told me about my options and then left it up to me to decide what I wanted to do. Once I made my mind up I text him and a couple of days later he was back out to see me with the paperwork for Bankruptcy. I can't believe how straight forward Bankruptcy is as it was something I never thought of and was really scared to hear that word. If your struggling with debt there people out there who can help you. David has been fantastic and really helped me and my family and 36 payments and I will be free from debt!!!!!
That's great to hear happy12345.
Well done to you for taking decisive action on your debts, and well done to David and his colleagues for supporting you in the right way as you came to a decision.
For a lot of people bankruptcy is, in reality, a perfectly workable and straightforward way to tackle a serious debt problem.
The very word "bankruptcy" is hugely off-putting though and scares many people away. This sense and concern can force people into inappropriate debt solutions, or to do nothing at all and continue to struggle against the odds.
Best wishes for the next 36 months. Hopefully it will pass quickly.
Hi happy12345,
Thank you for your kind words and positive feedback regarding your experience.
Dealing with your debts should be a straight forward process without anyone pressuring you into one particular option. I was disappointed to hear that the company you were previously speaking with only told you about a Trust Deed and not about all of your options and then constantly called you to ask if you were proceeding with a Trust Deed.
When I first started explaining Bankruptcy to you I could see you weren't keen on that but after speaking about it detail you started to realise that it's actually not as bad as people first think.
Hopefully you have started to feel a little better about the whole situation and can now see a light at the end of the tunnel.
