If I went ahead with a trust deed, would I still be able to collect my Tax Rebate in January or do I have to hand that over to creditors or my Trust Deed company or can I keep it?

I think you are supposed to hand over anything you receive over the value of ยฃ250. Off the record it would depend how the payment was made and how guilty you would feel by hiding it from them if that was possible.

Hi thethaiboxer and welcome to the forum.

If you received a tax rebate after you'd signed a trust deed you'd almost certainly have to pay the sum over to your Trustee for the benefit of your creditors.

Failing to do so would jeopardise the trust deed and therefore your future financial position.
