We wrote to the bank on numerous occasions, I suggest a formal letter of complaint about them giving your funds to an ex trustee, also state the outcome by the Sheriff. Keep at them, I wish you well.

Just an update on my situation, as previously said I contacted the court last week who told me my former trustee had not appealed, they said they would sent the report on my case to me as in their opinion it was all over and done with and the decision had been made. I received my Cheque this week from my former trustee because the court had also sent them the written judgement and the company claimed their solicitor told them it wouldn't be in their interest to appeal. I'm more relieved that I won't be re entering the insolvency register more than anything but obviously the Cheque is a bonus. I wouldn't bad mouth my former trustee as they did help me when I needed it most but their attitude to me throughout this has been appalling! I'm just glad to draw a line under this now! Good luck everyone and thank you all for your help.

Well done on successfully fighting your corner AJ26.

I wonder if we'll start to hear more stories like this now?

That is great news but why has there been a decision made and I'm still waiting ?

I think that's been addressed on the other thread Gleith.

A court made a decision on a particular case (which may or may not be applicable to your particular case) and this decsision might yet be appealed again.

My decision was made 12 weeks ago and that's me just received my Cheque which is relatively small compared to what others are expecting back. If I waited 12 weeks for 1,700 I can only imagine how long
Others will wait for their money.
