Car finance is seen as relatively low risk as if defaulted the car is simply taken back. You may find main dealers difficult but try around local places and you might be lucky.

We've heard from quite a few people who have obtained car finance relatively soon after being discharged from a trust deed.

It's probably worthwhile first checking that the discharge is shown on your credit file, and perhaps approaching any creditors that haven't updated your file to do so.

The better your credit file looks, the more likely you'll be accepted and the more likely you'll get a reasonable deal.
