I've been trust deed free for two years now. Flown in I have to say.

I've a friend who has a student loan.
She also has tax credit debt due to overpayment.
Could she, as a last resort, go down the trust deed route?
Apparently all student loan debt has been sold on. She's been contacted by the company that now owns her student loan debt.
She's in a bit of a flap as she's been deferring the student loan debt, but has now been told that she no longer can?!
Is a trust deed a viable option as a last resort for this type of debt?

Hi fizban.

When was the student loan originally taken out?

Does she have any other debts at all?
