I have just phoned my TD people and am waiting on a call back - hopefully today - asking for an update. It will be 5 years in March since I signed a 3 year TD and am still waiting on the discharge. They told me that I have been discharged but the AIB Register hasn't been updated, and they haven't paid any creditors. It might be a small thing to them, but the whole experience in dealing with my TD has left an extremely sour taste they have been useless and only seem to do anything when I threaten them with formal complaints, despite taking nearly £10,000 in fees, I genuinely feel that they are the worst company I've ever had the misfortune to deal with, I will misinformed from the start regarding a couple of major issues, and after having to borrow money from my parents to settle the equity issue I am financially no better off, although I don't have anyone hounding me for money. Rant over, Happy New Year and Good Luck everyone.

Hi WIKIKEE.

It's a real shame that this is all still rumbling on.

I do hope that you get some relief from it soon.

Had my call back, they are "working on my case now" and hope to pay creditors within the next few days. (What a coincidence) Once that's done they have 4 weeks to cash their cheques and then both myself and the Trustees should be discharged. They estimated 2 months for everything to be done..........

OK following a call from my Trustees asking me loads of questions I went a bit beserk when the girl told me it would be another 3 months. I told the girl there is no PPI and I was told that cheques were being sent out to my creditors at the beginning of January. She apparently is part of a team being brought in to investigate PPI. Managed to speak to someone in another department who informed me that cheques have indeed been sent - WOO HOO - and that they would update the system to tell the PPI team not to pursue it as my name shouldn't have been on the list. Yet another case of mismangement and miscommunication, however, it seems at least that there has been movement on the TD - I'm seeing a slight flicker of light at the end of a very long tunnel......

I feel your pain. It has also been approximately 5 years since I signed a 3 year trust deed with Wilson Andrews and I still haven't been discharged. I find it disgraceful. Any time I call to check the status I just get the same response 'we are sorry' and 'you are at the top of the pile now'. I have every expectation to be in the same position this time next year.

The most annoying part for me is that I told them there was no PPI but yet they still have to spend 2years checking.

Hi Steven26784

I am sorry to hear you are still waiting to be discharged from your Trust Deed.

I appreciate it's frustrating and you're keen to be able to move on from your Trust Deed, there can be a number of loose ends we need to tie up before discharge with PPI reclaims being one of them.

I would like to have the opportunity to investigate this for you and see if I can either push things along faster to at least give you a timescale on your discharge. Please can you drop me an email with your reference, you can find our contact email address in the ÔÇ£contact usÔÇØ section of our website.

Once again I'm sorry for the frustration this is causing you.

Thank you

Sarah ÔÇô A member of the team at Wilson Andrews.
