Hi all.
We're going to run a survey via the site very soon. It will be about some of the possible changes to the way that debt solutions will work in Scotland in the future.
The market research company involved want us to have one-to-one conversations with a few site members about their thoughts on this subject. This would be to help identify issues which are important to members and to phrase questions for the survey suitably.
It would involve speaking on the telephone with one of my colleagues for 15 to 20 minutes. It would simply be an open conversation to identify what is important to you. This could be during the day or evening, today or tomorrow.
Can you help us? If so it would be massively appreciated and will help to make the survey as good as it can be.
Please let me know via the contact TDA form (via the button in my forum signature) if there is a time today/tomorrow that you could offer to help with this.
Thanks for reading.
Hi.
We'd like the chance to have a 15 to 20 minute conversation (as above) with a few more people if anyone can spare the time this evening, tomorrow daytime, or tomorrow evening?
As a thank you for your time we'll post a ยฃ20 supermarket voucher to those that get in touch and that we subsequently speak with.
If you can help please get in touch via the Contact TDA button below (using the contact form it takes you to).
I would have helped but I dont know if I can due to not being in debt?
That's very kind of you Haggis.
As we're looking to get opinions on how debt solutions may change in the future at this stage we're primarily looking to speak with people who are considering how to deal with their debts, are in the process of a debt solution currently, or who have completed a debt solution.
It's all just to help us shape how the survey will work.
When the survey comes out we'd very much appreciate your response and opinions. All members will get the chance to take part.
I probably wouldnt have been the best person anyway as my views of these trust deeds/debt solutions aka get out of jail free cards.....is not good as you can imagine but thanks to this site I have had so much help ๐
I could do this if I were to get called now? Going back out in 45 minutes
Every end has a start !!
Thank you very much TimeLord.
I know my colleague has just spoken with a member and said they had some really interesting thoughts and insights. Not sure if it was you, but there's a ยฃ20 Asda voucher as a thank you being sent somewhere!
Hi,
I don't mind helping so long as its (a) anonymous & (b) easy to answer ???
Hi boys1211 and thank you.
It can certainly be anonymous. Feel free just to give your first name if you get in touch and that will be all that will be used/heard on the call.
It isn't anything difficult at all. It's just a chat about what you think... and we're all very nice and laid back!!
My colleague would be really pleased to chat with you if you have a few minutes spare now. Just use the Contact TDA link and we'll call you back.
You're welcomeTDA, hope my answers were helpful.
Every end has a start !!
I'm told that all of the conversations held thus far have been really insightful and useful.
Thanks to everyone that has offered to help. We now have a full schedule for today thanks to the generosity of Trust-Deed.co.uk members.
All being well the actual survey should run next week.
Update:
A massive thank you to the eight people that took some time to talk to us about the forthcoming survey. The information and views that you provided have had a major influence on the way that it has been set up.
The questionnaire is nearly ready and we hope it will be made available to members on Monday next week.
Oh dear, I had an email which I thought was spam and it wasn't until I looked at this that I realised it wasn't and by then I was too late to reply. My thoughts and comments probably couldn't have been used though as they probably wouldn't have sounded constructive ๐ Thank you again to all those who contribute and give up their own time to help, had I found this site before my TD, I would probably be in a better position now. Thanks again. PS. Do those who get the vouchers have to declare these to their Trustees ๐
My voucher arrived this morning, thank you!
I would also like to say thank you to Andrew who made it very easy to talk to him.
