Just to inform everybody that I am probably not alone, but I received a SPAM e-mail this morning based on my login name for this website and it was one of these typical 'My husband has died and has a wealth of several million. I need your help etc etc etc.
I'm sure that the forum moderators take spamming very seriously but please be on your guard.
The 'member' who spammed me is "Miss Mabel Camara." so be wary of any messages from this 'person'

She is a member of this forum with a username of mabel02 and is based in abidjan. I'm not sure how to report other members so this is my only way to warn other members on this forum. I'm assuming she's trying to target people with money problems.

Thanks for pointing this out Roverrunner76.
Their site membership has been cancelled and if they reappear they'll be cancelled again.
For similar reasons, I'd urge people to be very cautious about posting and leaving their personal email addresses in the forum.

I got the same SPAM message sent to my personal email address from this forum.

This happened once before many years ago Brian5. It stopped as soon as it came to light and the member was banned.
They're using the internal communication system that members can use to email each other. To the very best of my knowledge, the sender doesn't get any sight of your email address unless you reply to them.
