Hi all,

Yesterday I was worried sick and even a bit unsure of how I was going to chose to handle my debts despite me having thoroughly researched all options.
I know I have said this before on here but Paul at Wylie & Bisset was again exceptional today and for the first time in a long long time, I walked away from their offices with a signed Trust deed application and feeling a million times better :).
All my questions, concerns etc. were answered with no problem and the offer of seeking advice from them is always open. there is no shame in this and you are made to feel very comfortable and things are explained step by step. They are very well regulated also and I cannot recommend Paul and the company enough. Time will tell over the next 4 years, and I hope that by reading previous posts that my TD will fly in quick. ๐Ÿ™‚ but I can say hand on heart I feel confident in my decision and that's the most important part of this process as there can be no doubts.... and I now look to the future for the first time in a long time.

Good for you Garfield1030.

It's a big decision to make, and it appears from your confidence that you've gone about making that decision in exactly the right way.

Hi Garfield1030,

I'm pleased to read that you've taken steps to resolve your financial difficulties and are happy with the service and advice you have received from Paul. I've made him aware of your kind words and post.

The first couple of months at the outset can be the most nervous for anyone starting out on a Trust Deed. We tell you to stop paying all of your debts which normally goes against what you have always done and because of this you will probably receive some phone calls and letters from your creditors chasing you for payments which again can make people nervous and worried. Once the Trust Deed is accepted by your creditors and the phone calls and letters start to reduce you will feel an awful lot better about things. Before you know it you'll be a couple of years in and coming to the end.

If there is ever anything you are worried about you have the forum to fall back on for advice along with Paul and I so don't be scared to pick the phone up to us.

Many thanks David I got my first missed payment letter today as you are right in the fact it goes against everything I have worked for I've always paid my bills. After speaking with Paul I am aware and ready to work through this difficult part but I feel millions better and can't thank Paul and your company enough. It's good to know you are all there if I ever need to call. I can feel myself getting back to my normal self and realising its not the end if the world :):).
