Hi guys,

I've been offered a new job, but a requirement is that I must set up a PLC. Can I do so while in a TD ?

If not, can my wife set the company up in her name ?

Many thanks,

George

Hi George.

I think you might mean a regular limited company rather than a PLC?

I cannot see why you could not do that and be a director of it.

One challenge might be getting a business bank account opened. We've heard here before that this can be tricky when the owner/director is in a protected trust deed.
