Hi all, quick question about this. I entered into Sequestration on the 20th Dec 2011. I was discharged from this the next year.

This year it will be 3 years since entering into the agreement. Is there anything I need to do to be discharged from my trustee (and stop paying monthly contributions) or do they normally pick all that up?

Thanks.

Hi albabarn.

All that I'd suggest is to contact your trustee to confirm that their record of the dates and payments is the same as yours.

You'll be able to confirm the final payment date and how to cease making the payments. For example, if it's a standing order you'll need to stop the payment but if it's a direct debit your trustee should be able do it for you.
