Hi All, I have 4 payments left of my sequestration payments, can anyone please advise what I should expect after I have paid my last payment? I presume it will differ from Trust Deeds.

Love the forum btw, great, informative and a great help with advice from experts when required. I know it's for Trust Deeds but I check in daily as there does not appear to me to be that much difference between TD & Sequestration.

Hi juliet.

Thanks for the kind words. Trust deeds and sequestration do, in many respects, work in similar ways.

Discharge might be an area of difference though.

Were you asked to make payments over three years (with four months left)?

Hi TDA, yes, 36 payments, 4 left, I was officially discharged after 1 year, so showing on AIB as discharged, just wondered what happens after last payment is made and what I should expect from IP and how long before they discharge themselves, just looking forward to this being over.

I'm not sure exactly what you should expect juliet, there will be variations between different trustees.

I'd suggest simply confirming with them that their records agree with yours that all of the due payments have been made when the time comes. There's nothing else for you to worry about.
