I'm sure it will all be fine alan1240. Try not to worry and over think things too much.

Hi David ,
Thank you so much for taking the time to go over things with me i think i am over thinking things im just trying to reach out to see if there is people like me in similar circumstances that have got a second trust deed and also with similar creditors .
Your welcome Alan.
Everyone always worries about things and over thinks. I realise it's a pretty stressful time.
I have over 13 years experience and have dealt with 100s/1000s of clients in this time. From what you have told me tonight I can't see there being any problems as long as your company make a suitable proposal to your creditors.

Thanks David,
They were very thorough covered everything you have asked so i feel more confident going into this you have really put me at ease thank's again !!
I will post my update after the 6 week period ..
Hi there i had a trust deed in 2001 and have recently been discharged from a second trust deed.I was anxious about applying for a second trust deed and to be honest I was ashamed to do so. Due to feeling like this I probably left it a lot longer than I should have-probably a few years and got further into debt.
Although the rules and regulations had changed I found there were no issues about taking out another trust deed. I would certainly be very precise with your income expenditure and make sure your equity and assets position is all put in writing and certainly the overtime/bonus situation as I know this has changed since i signed my second trusr deed
All the best
Alan speaking from experience I went through Triust Deed Scotland and they themselves were very good. Do ask questions tho. Again speaking from experience I can't help get the feeling I could have got a better "deal" with one of the professionals on here. I eventually was passed on to Knightsbridge in Manchester who are the insolvency firm and the communication from them has been really poor. Wrong dates wrong figures and a change of trustee all made me feel pretty uncomfortable. I have made my final payment and am awaiting discharge now. The guys here reckon 6 a8 weeks is long enough to be personally discharged but Knightsbridge are quoting 6-12 Months. It's a real ,et down after thinking it would be over quicker. If I was you I'd stop the process with Trust Deed Scotland and go see Kevin or David. I wish I had.
The company we will be using is Harper Mcdermott based in the same building as trust deed scotland has anyone used them before ??
Hi alan1240,
The name wasnโt automatically familiar with me.
Iโve had a look at Companies House and see that the company was incorporated on the 15th June 2016 which confirms that it has been newly formed.
It could mean that because it was only incorporated less than 12 months ago not many people are able to feed back to you on the company and how their case has been handled from start to finish for the full 4 years. It might only be possible to give you limited feedback on them.

Hi Alan,
Thanks for coming back onto the forum to post an update about your situation.
Under the right circumstances a second Trust Deed can be a very effective way of clearing an unmanageable amount debt and is actually a lot more common than people think.
I'm glad I've been able to help you with it all and your now feeling much better about things.
Let's look forward to the future now and counting down the payments.
