Hi all. Thanks for reading. Basically I signed trust deed in June 2013 discharged by trustee in Dec 2015. I have right to buy as have been in council house for 8 years. Value 115000 and mortgage required is 78000. I obviously can't get a mortgage until at least two years discharged so 2017 but partner can get mortgage no problem. However because it's my right to buy my name has to be on formal offer and therefore on deed to house. No problems there but as I can't get a joint mortgage I am told that partner cannot get mortgage on his own as my name will have to be on the deed. Anyone help. Is there anyone who has had success with this?

Hi Nearlyover.

I'm afraid I think this may need to be a mortgage professional question.

It's outside of my competence, but maybe someone else will be able to share some knowledge or experience on this subject.
