AIB awardeesequestration on 19th December-yippee I think!!

Prior to that I had notification from a neighbour of a rental Property we own regarding shared costs for a roof repair. 3 quotes (lowest over £12000) were included and a copy of the clause in the title deed regards an obligation to share responsibility for common repairs.

I admit I haven't dealt with this at all. [:I]
I think it's fairly obvious that we are liable for this cost but we don't have £4000+ to pay it over.

Not sure if it's relevant but we also would like to voluntarily return the property to the lender. Does that change anything?[B)]

Thanks in advance

Hi Rockbottomsolidbase

You need to discuss this with your Trustee as they would have taken your payments and the rental income you received into consideration at the outset. This would change things and you need to discuss with them and they'll advise what to do next.
