HI, Does anyone know if myself and my husband are likely to be accepted for a remortgage. I finished my trust deed in August 15 and received my form5 in October. We had a loan against the house that finished this week. I am only looking to borrow same amount that is currently outstanding this is 65% LTV. My fixed rate ended while in trust deed and didn't even try to get a new fixed rate as knew it would be a no while in trust deed but really want to get back into a fixed rate to ensure my rates don't increase. Any help or other peoples personal experience would be great. Thanks

j dyer

Hi babyd12,

I'm not a mortgage advisor so I'm limited to what help I can he in regards to advice relating to mortgages.

Are you looking to stay with your current mortgage provider or are you looking to move away to a new lender?

Moving away from your current lender may pose a problem due to your Trust Deed having been discharged for less than 1 year.

I would speak with your current provider to see what they are able to offer you in terms of a mortgage deal.

Also, always best to speak with an independent mortgage advisor who deals with the whole of the market when it comes to things like this.
