Received letter from O2

Been in a trust deed for 1.5 years now and just received a worrying letter from O2 saying there is a debt handed over to Lowell. I was previously with CAP until I got a trust deed with another company more quickly. I've contacted my trust deed guy but some reassurance would be good from anyone here with a similar letter.

Thanks in advance,

Nigel

Welcome to the forum n79.

If this debt existed when your trust deed was signed you have nothing to worry about.

It automatically falls into your trust deed creditor list and (assuming your trust deed is protected) 02/Lowell cannot enforce the debt.

Your trustee should reach out to them so that they can make a claim on your trust deed (along with your other creditors).

Thanks for replying - yes existed before it was in place and I had already informed CAP about it with my list of other creditors. Thanks for you help. Nigel
