Once everything has dropped off the credit file so there is nothing left at all default wise ect, how long would it take for a credit file to start showing a difference? For instance my husbands clears in Aug completely (6yrs will have passed) so everything drops off except 2 rebuilder credit cards he took a year ago and a mail order account. All of these are showing up to date and always paid on time, one of the cards recently tripled his credit limit although he hasn't used this and has no plans to. I just wondered how long it would take for his score to reflect this and begin to creep up?
We really can't say I'm afraid trustdeed1.
All we can say is to keep doing the right things and things will surely improve over time.
Remember that the "credit scores" provided by the credit reference agencies really aren't of much value.
Every lender sees their own way.
