Hi, I received a rebate of £266 from my energy provider today, it's the first time I have ever had a rebate, I have no Idea why I got this. What should I do, should I inform my Trustee.

Hi poprey.

Do you pay your energy provider by direct debit?

Hi poprey.

I think it's likely to be because your actual energy usage has been below what was expected. That means credit can build up in your account - sometimes to a degree that it becomes appropriate to give you some of the cash back.

Are they reducing your direct debit payment also?

I think it's appropriate to let your trustee know and get their thoughts on what should happen with this sum.
