I chatted on line as they would not give me an email address as i wanted an email trail. I was forced to raise it under the PPI claim process again. This had all the account details and case references. Sounds like Mb77 they are reading off ascript tp try and minimise the amount of payouts they will have to make. I also referenced the Court of Session number.
Here’s the Herald article. Pretty interesting:

Mb77 can you post up the email address please?
A good accurate article in the herald, covering most of the valid points. With the amount of money involved i would imagine they will still fight.I await their reply.
Great news . Very happy

Nice one Colin, i sent two last night
Phoned rbs today not much success has been esculated to another team . Have to wait on a call back . Early days
It is very early days Luke4630.
I think we'll need to wait a while to see the decisions RBS make as outlined in the Herald article (link above).
Still... it looks like the percentage chance of receving a payment in the end has gone up very considerably over the past few days.
All exciting stuff! Just sent off an email to rocustomercare@rbs.co.uk, will keep you posted with any response. Do you think it worthwhile sending an email to the CEO as she will probably have her mail screened?
Hi Duckbill.
I guess it's hard to know to what extent this might help to influence things.
Even if the CEOs email is screened (I'd imagine that it is) presumably someone would keep them informed about any developing themes about who is getting in touch and why.
I have had no replys:( Be very interesting to see what they do. Anyone know if all avenues are now closed to them? In the article and court decision, mention was made to the re-opening of the trust deed, however as far as i am aware this has never been done or tested, i may be wrong on this?
This issue is touched on in the following article which has now been updated Kayak:
https://www.trust-deed.co.uk/rbs-and-ppi-claims-after-trust-deeds.html
There appear to be two avenues, about both of which there's some scepticism going around that RBS would be successful.
