Hi
I know this has been discussed many times but looking for some advice.
Around 10yrs ago I was in a protect trust deed in which RBS where main creditor, the trust deed ran its course and I was discharged a few years later.
Earlier this year after getting advice from my insolvency practitioner I enlisted the help of a third party to do my PPI claim and as I suspected the RBS were due me a refund which they then offset against money I was due them.
The third party acting for me are convinced they a wrong in doing so and have other clients in same position as myself who have been paid the money.
My next step is to write to RBS disagreeing with the decision to offset awards, Is there anything I can put in letter that will encourage them to reverse their decision?
Welcome to the forum Jack70.
I'm afraid I cannot offer you any positives here.
